"Very entertaining. A third book...a third classic!"

"Just like the first two books, Rising the Beast, is filled with action, blood and the importance of family.
The third installment follows the twins of Gabrio and Esmerelda, the Hybrid, and his twin brother--the spell of Eve--as they dive into the prophecy that is hidden from the boys. I was pleased with the pace, the constant roller coaster ride of who was around the corner to kill the other, who was the friend, the enemy. There were death, pain, and romance to where I felt as if I couldn't breathe. The descriptions were beautiful. She used words that painted each scene into my brain as if I watched it on the television. Levi continued her page-turning moves by ending the book with my mouth hanging open, wondering what will happen in book four. I think I do and I'm afraid. My favorite part was how the author used religious aspects to build her storyline. The world could easily be outside my door and I will keep an eye on the heavens to see if Thaddeus arrives..."

*I received this book from the author for my honest review*

MUSIC

"Music is my religion." - Jimi Hendrix

Music is its own spiritual entity. With a few notes played a song can capture the heart and bind the mind to that particular fleeting moment. However, if the music and lyrics had related to the listener's soul, what's left behind is a feeling of a higher connection. That song may be different for everybody, have a different reaction in most; but it's real because it triggered a deep, raw, response. That's what I wanted to give to the readers as I wrote Rising the Beast. I wanted something deeper. As I had a clear vision for the third volume of the Beast series, I found that this part had a different feel to it. It's darker, more catastrophic, and there's so much uncertainty that resides during the transition to the finale. As impossible it may have seemed, finding the right songs to match this book was harder than expected since I wanted to find the perfect song that connected the soul of each chapter; I had done it. Now, I share this with you.
